Welcome to the Horizon High School Choral Program
Every year we present four major concerts including our Broadway Under the Stars Production in the Fall, our Winter Holiday Concert, our Honor’s Concert and our Spring Concert. Our students also have many performances around the community, on National Tours and at neighboring schools. Our top ensembles go on a weekend retreat at the start of the school year to bond and build up their teamwork skills. This same group of students tours together in the Spring. Our Intermediate Women’s Choirs also tour in the Spring and all of our students participate in State AMEA Events such as All-State and Regional Choirs and Solo & Ensemble Festivals.

Horizon is located in the North East Valley and has been in existence
since 1980. The Choral Department features seven performing ensembles
including Concert Choirs, Women’s Choirs, Men’s Choir, Jazz
Choir, Madrigal Choir and two award winning Show Choirs. There are approximately
300 students in the program. 
Horizon High School has been proud to have many students selected for
the Arizona All-State Show Choir, the Arizona All-State Jazz Choir, the
North Central Regional Choir and the Arizona All-State Concert Choir.
Our students excel in vocal performance and pedagogy, musical theater,
dance, acting, music theory, sight reading and music history knowledge.
